The 20th edition of Cartography Day took place at UPOL, and we couldn't miss it.

The theme of this year's edition was Cartography and the Human Mind, so we explored the possibilities of human perception not only in the field of maps. Our mind, after all, influences not just the reading of a map, but also something as simple as opening one or buying an atlas.

Part of the event was a gathering of young cartographers organised by the Czech Cartographic Society, during which some master's and doctoral students from various universities had the opportunity to learn from, for example, the hands-on experience of a freelance cartographer.
