3D printing has already become a firmly established part of modern Czech industry. Thanks to the exhibition To the Stars with 3D Printing, organised at the Regional Museum Prague – East, we have the opportunity to present the scientific outputs of the Department of Geomatics in this form as well.

In Brandýs nad Labem, an exhibition dedicated to the history of 3D printing is now open, featuring examples of how this remarkable technology has been implemented across a range of scientific disciplines. We are pleased that geomatics is represented among them. At the museum, visitors can explore examples of 3D printing from the fields of historical building documentation, 3D cartography, and virtual 3D modelling — on display until October 2026.
