Dr. Barbara Wiatkowska from Wrocław University of Science and Technology presented research on satellite imagery analysis, landscape development monitoring, regional development potential and much more.

This lecture is an example of international cooperation with other European universities, which is mutually beneficial not only from a scientific point of view, but also for our students who can take advantage of the Erasmus+ programme and travel for new experiences.

Dr. Wiatkowska's lecture took place within the two-month intership she had at our department. This visit was inspiring for us in many ways, especially in the areas of improving the didactics of geomatics and in the research focus of our researchers.
