3D modelling of Prophet Nahum's tomb in Iraq presented on ČT Events

The shrine of the biblical prophet Nahum is an extraordinary monument representing the roots of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. It can be found in the small Christian town of Alqosh, about 45 kilometres from the city of Mosul in northern Iraq.

The building is estimated to date back to the 12th century and was long used as a synagogue. It is generally claimed that the Prophet Nahum is buried here, although many experts dispute this.
