44th EARSeL Symposium in Prague

At the end of May we had the honour to host the prestigious 44th EARSeL Symposium, held under the auspices of the Department of Geomatics, Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU, in cooperation with Auletris. 

The main topic was the use of remote sensing in a wide range of applications - from environmental monitoring to urban planning.

More than 160 experts, researchers and students from all over the world attended the event to share their knowledge, innovations and establish new international partnerships. On behalf of the Department of Geomatics, Eva Matoušková as Programme Director, was particularly involved in the preparation of the conference. Lena Halounová a Tomáš Bouček also contributed a lot to the preparation and the course.

The conference proceedings were published in ISPRS Archives and you can find, among others, the contribution of Eva Matoušková: Reflectance Spectroscopy as a Tool for Identification of Historic Stone.
