The Czech Cartographic Society organised the 23rd annual Map of the Year competition, in which an expert jury selected the best cartographic works from the entries.

The award ceremony took place on Thursday, 9 September 2021, at the social evening of the 24th Cartographic Conference in Ostrava in the presence of the cartographic community.

g of the Czech Technical University in Prague in cooperation with the Historical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. The award was received by Tomáš Janata from the Department of Geomatics.
